Instead of fancy art supplies, I used sidewalk chalk to draw the lines and let myself draw them as I went instead of making them parallel. Another exercise in letting go. Sidewalk chalk is not known for its lasting abilities so then I began the process of applying fixative in layers. Layer by layer, I added color and fixative until I had the color I wanted. This one feels like me. There is what I feel comfortable showing and then there are all the other parts that take time to discover.
