Abstract Art Layers: Magical Child
Making Space and Nurturing Our Inner Child
It is so easy to ignore ourselves as we get older. We find ourselves so busy taking care of others, we forget what makes us happy. How do we bridge the child inside of us to the adult we are today? And better yet, how do we help our inner child heal while also celebrating the magical wonder we once felt?
I think the answer lies within our creativity. We can return to a place that forgives mistakes and encourages experimentation.
We can find connection remembering who we were because it is still hidden inside of us.
We can be the parent we adored or the one we dreamed we had all because we let ourselves imagine.
MAGICAL CHILD
Deep inside, there is a magical child that still smiles at bubbles and sometimes cries at the beauty of the world.
There is a wounded child that is scared to express themselves for fear of judgment or lack of acceptance.
But there is also a mother and an adult that is trying to nurture the inner child and quiet the voices of shame and disgust.
I want the child to be free and the mother to be proud.
It is your story. You get to decide how it is told.
